The Windsor Town Branch have arranged a supper at the Bexley Arms in Windsor on Friday 20 April 2018 at 7pm. The guest speaker will be David Lidington CBE, MP for Aylesbury since 1992.
David was appointed Minister for the Cabinet Office and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster on 8 January 2018. He was Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice from June 2017 to January 2018.
He has held a number of positions including Shadow Secretary of State for Northern Ireland from 2003 to 2007 and Shadow Minister for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs from 2007 to 2010. He served as Minister of State at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) from May 2010 until July 2016.
David worked for BP and Rio Tinto – Zinc Corporation (RTZ) before spending 3 years as Special Advisor to Douglas Hurd in the Home Office and Foreign Office
